connecting ATMega16 and CS8900 ethernet
hi.... i have triend to program atmega16 with CS8900 ethernet chip.... its still the beginning.. i use netstack library from avr-lib library, the net/ libary. but its still not working....i try to blink a led after calling netstackinit() function and its not working. i use direct connection (without memory mapped) data port -- portA R/W port to port B addr port to port C does anyone know or have some code about programming atm16 with cs8900??? or something wrong with my design... thnx...

use 'uip'. Search for uip in net you can get the sourcecode.

thnx anyway but i prefer to use AVR-Lib becaue the other module of my program use avr-lib the proble m it still dont work... i use the internal clock of ATM16 --> 8MHz is that possible because CS8900 works with crystal 20MHz?? is that a problem? second i try with direct connection to my computer (using cross over cable)..is that a problem too?? i really need help on this guys... thanxs... btw now the problem is it cant receive/process a frame because the framebyte count always 65535 that retrned from cs8900BeginPacketRetreive() function...
